JICA中国センターからの依頼を受け,アジア6か国の先生方を対象にした研修を行いました。今回の参加者はバングラデシュ,カンボジア,ラオス,モンゴル,ミャンマー,ネパールの教育省や教員養成校にて,教員指導に携わられている先生方14名です。日本の大学院生の方も見学に来られました。
自己紹介で日本の印象をお伺いしたところ,やはり広島県にあるJICA中国センターで研修を受けられているからか,「平和」についてのコメントを多くいただきました。自己紹介が大いに盛り上がって予定時間をかなりオーバーしてしまいましたところで,研修がスタートいたしました。今回の研修テーマは「学年を越えた理数科のつながり」と「理数科目を越えたつながり」です。
まず,学習指導要領の概観と教科書の制作工程についてお話いたしました。「教科書や指導書の定価はいくらなのか?」「教科書の意見をどのようにフィードバックするのか?」「現場の先生は指導するときに指導要領を読み込むのか?」など,活発な質問・意見が飛び交いました。デジタル教科書の値段には先生方もかなり驚かれていました。
次に,算数・数学や理科における学年間の系統性について講義いたしました。小学校・中学校の教科書紙面を見比べながら,下位学年で学んだ内容が上位学年でどのように扱われるのかをご覧いただきました。また,算数・理科の教科間連携についてもお伝えしたところ,非常に興味深くお聞きくださり,初出事項の取り上げ方についても活発な議論が交わされました。
ちなみに,弊社の理科の教科書では観察植物としてカボチャを取り上げていますが,先生方に各国での観察植物をお尋ねしましたところ,バングラデシュやネパールでは同じくカボチャでしたが,カンボジアではナス,ミャンマーでは花を育てるのだそうです。日本と同じカボチャが多いことに驚きました。また,日本では天体の指導にお困りの先生が多いこともお伝えしたところ,各国でもやはり同様のお悩みを抱えていらっしゃるようで,理科指導を通して,楽しく国際交流もできました。
今回の研修を通して,各国の教科書内容や教育課題を知ることができ,大変勉強になりました。我々がお伝えした内容が各国での教育課題の解決に少しでも役立てばと思っております。「理数は世界共通語である」という考えのもと,啓林館はこれからもJICA教育支援の取り組みをサポートして参りたいと思います。

In KEIRINKAN Textbook Company's lecture, I learned that narrative makes the students understand what is being offered by the knowledge. But there is not much time in class.
