平成26年度　課題別研修　アジア地域　授業研究による教育の質的向上編

JICA中国センターからの依頼を受け，アジア5ヶ国の先生方に向けた研修事業に参加して参りました。参加者はバングラデシュ・カンボジア・ラオス・モンゴル・ミャンマーの初等教育省・教育局・教育青年スポーツ省カリキュラム開発局・教員養成校にて指導にあたっている先生方です。また，インドネシア教育大学の先生方も参加され，合計13名となりました！！
　今回私たちの研修テーマは「学年を超えた理数科のつながり」と「理数科目を超えたつながり」です。

まず，学習指導要領の概観と教科書をどのように制作しているかを説明しました。中学校数学の教科書を例にあげ，数ページしかない学習指導要領の項目が，中学校１～3年で数百ページの教科書になることに驚かれていました。また，「教科書制作期間はどれくいらなのか」「何名くらいの執筆者がいるのか」「執筆者を選定する基準は何か」等の質問を受け，私たちの現状ならびに考え方をお伝えしました。

次に日本の算数・数学，理科の系統性ついて説明をしました。算数・数学では「たし算」や「比例・反比例における小中のつながりと一次関数，関数y＝ax2へのつながり」，理科では「原子・分子の学習」や「生物と自然界のつながり」を例にあげ，英訳本や教科書紙面を見てもらいました。熱心に教科書を見ながら，内容についての質問もたくさん出されました。また，算数・数学と理科のつながりについて説明すると，「自国の教科書ではこのようなことはほとんど意識されていない」との感想がありました。

他には「日本では学習指導要領の内容（学習内容）を先生方にどのように普及しているのか」「子どもたちの評価はどのようにしているのか」等の質問もあったので，指導書の構成や内容を紹介すると，その充実度合いには大変驚かれていました。

最後に各国の教科書内容や教育課題をお聞きしたところ，各国共通して出てきた課題が「子どもたちが，教科書に記載されている学習内容と身のまわりのことを関連づけて考えることができない」とのことでした。日本の子どもたちと同じ課題を各国の子どもたちも抱えていることを知りました。

今回の研修を通して，各国の教科書内容や教育課題を知ることができ，大変勉強になりました。我々がお伝えした内容が各国での教育課題の解決に少しでも役立てばと思っております。「理数は世界共通語である」という考えのもと，啓林館はこれからもJICA教育支援の取り組みをサポートして参りたいと思います。

  1. The lecture was so useful. I understand that the Japanese textbook system is very systematical and sustainable.
  2. I think the textbook which developed by the Keirinkan are one of the most fruitful teaching learning materials of the world today. The books are full of activity with students and that is why they can learn and can use it in their day-to-day life. There are lots of fun activities for young learners.

  4. Your book is quite good quality. It designed very well. So we’ll wait the international version. You are concerned about scientific process skill as we as we are, but you are a step ahead.   6. The textbooks in Japan, the lectures are related with one after another. And then, it directly related with the daily life. Describing many colorful pictures may be interesting for the students. Thank you very much for giving textbooks and materials.

  8. I am Cambodian participant, I am very interested on what you have presented during the course. I understand a lot on the structure of curriculum and textbook in Japan. Japanese textbook is very interesting because it has the colorful, real-life activities and the consequence from grade to grade. Thank you.
  9. It was useful to understand the connection between curriculum and textbook content. However, a method how to make connection would be appreciated if it was given.
  10. The way you write the textbook for student is very well organized. A lot of components involved to design the textbooks. To make the books internationally, you translate them in English. I think in the near future, your books can be used for Asian-African-and other parts of the world.
  11. Textbook is very good because all lesson have colorful picture and easy to understand. Teacher guide can help the new teacher to create activity in lesson plan.
  12. I am Bangladesh participants. I understand the structure of curriculum and textbook in Japan. This experience is more fruitful in our own country. Thank you very much for giving textbook and teaching materials.
  13. I think textbook company in Japan is very interesting for teachers and the students. Let the pupils to easy understanding and catch their attention to study such as the textbook are related by each grade of content.
