Taurus was created by Claudius Ptolemy and is one of the 88 constellation in constellation ecliptic
The Pleiades star cluster is located on the bull's shoulders and the Hyades star cluster is located on the bull's face.

The bull that forms constellation is said to be the form that the great god Zeus took when he abducted Europa, the daughter of the Phoenician king.
When Zeus and Europa arrived on the shores of Crete, they were married.
