    Ursa Major/Greater Bear

Set by Claudius Ptolemy.
The Big Ursa Major is the group of stars that form the body and long tail of Big Dipper.
According to Greek mythology, the big bear in Ursa Major is actually Callisto, a beautiful nymph.

Callisto was a maid to Artemis, the goddess of the moon and the hunt, and was her constant companion.
Without Artemis' knowledge, Callisto fell in love with Zeus and became pregnant.
There are various theories about what happened next, but either an angry Artemis or Zeus' wife Hera, in a fit of jealousy, hurled a curse at him.
Then Callisto was transformed into a huge bear.
Callisto disappears into the forest and is later raised up into the sky along with her son Arcas.
However, Zeus threw it up while still holding it by the tail, causing it to stretch and become long.
