The Hong Kong team has arrived in Japan!
A general meeting was held at the Keirinkan Osaka Head Office with members of the Hong Kong team who are cooperating with the Diverse Universe Project. We invited Kenneth Hui, Bartholomew Tsang, and Ching Tin Chu from the Ho Koon Nature Education cum Astronomical Center.
During our visit to Japan, we asked Ms. Meguko Yamauchi, representative of Astro Ninja Projects, who has been working hard on this project, to act as our guide and show us around famous spots related to astronomy in Japan. During the MTG, the Hong Kong team shared their valuable knowledge that they had discovered many similarities with Chinese culture and history through their tours of various parts of Japan, and the whole team was very excited and excited.
We received many frank opinions after experiencing the VR and AR content we were currently developing. As we approach the Expo, expectations for the finished product will continue to rise.
On the day of MTG, Professor Hajime Yano of JAXA, who is the general supervisor of Diverse Universe, also visited. Members of the Hong Kong team were also looking forward to meeting Professor Yano, and the venue was full of conversation about starry skies from beginning to end.
He brought a lot of rare materials about the starry sky in China and carefully explained the episodes of celestial bodies in Chinese history and culture. Hints and ideas were exchanged one after another to further expand the theme of the Diverse Universe Project, ``Learning about diversity through the starry sky,'' and I feel that we were able to truly exchange information ``through the starry sky.''
We also received as souvenirs a huge suitcase full of rare Chinese celestial goods that are hard to find in Japan. We will use it for future product and content development.
Thank you to the Hong Kong team for this valuable opportunity for international exchange.
